I LOVE LOVE LOVE the finish of ARTDECO Rich Treatment Foundation (Php 1200 at SM Makati)! I’ve been using this for two weeks now and am telling you, this is one of the best liquid foundations I’ve ever tried! Highly comparable to DiorSkin Forever Extreme Wear Flawless Makeup. It feels too light to touch after setting with finishing powder, I swear you’ll even forget you have something on your face.

Good Saturday afternoon mi lurves! I just finished doing my nails for this family gathering tonight in celebration of my lola’s birthday. It’s just a small family affair at her house but as the only girl in my dad’s side of the family, I have both the responsibility and the right to look (extra) pretty. My lola hates it when my hair’s all over my face (which reminds me I need to get my bangs trimmed before we go to their house) and my nails’re unkempt or topped with dark polish.

Sigh. I just removed my plum polish (sniff, sniff) and switched to this next to nothing frosty shade from Sally Hansen’s Hard As Nails line called GLAZED SAND:

Ladies, meet the baby that got me going between weddings and events in four inch stilettos for four days straight:

Come night #3, I was just dying to get my feet iced, heated, wrapped, whatever just to relieve it of this burning sensation. I tell you, every single step even on flats hurt like ƒ!@#%#$%^!<. Post bath time and quick foot spa using this really efficient Swedish Foot File from La Cross (definitely worth splurging on this payday!), I got one of my spare 1.5″ paint brushes I have in my art stash and used it to apply the mask on my towel dried feet. While its color would definitely remind you of St. Ives clay mask (the blue one that’s supposed to draw out impurities), your sniffers will tell you that it smells wayyy better. Consistency wise, it can be easily spread by my bare hands yet thick enough not to drip.

Seated in a couch, I set up four throw pillows on the bed next to me and raised my feet on it for about 30 minutes. The recommended “leave on” time is only 5 minutes but I was just too tired and liked how it felt so I just left it on longer. It felt pleasantly cool rather than minty fresh (like most salon masks) so I wasn’t really distracted by the blue gunk. Per instructions, I had to soak and wash it off with warm water. I did as instructed, pat dry, and felt my feet. It doesn’t feel like a baby’s foot against my hand but my…I tell you, it feels (no exag) heavenly after rinsing. It did deliver its promise of deep soothing, smoothing, and renews achy, tired feet.

*sigh* Sally Hansen. You did it again for the Swiper.

So yes, my rating stands. It’s even an A++ because I got so many compliments on how pretty my hands and nails are.
