Pond’s | SwipeSomeGloss - Part 3

It’s been a week since I met POND’S Flawless White Light Infusing Under-Eye Cream (whew) and as promised, here’s my early verdict! ;)

I compared the earlier mentioned eye cream side to side with my Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream experience and oh my! Our little tube of hope from POND’S is it’s “save” counterpart! ;) Save for the “whitening” part (which I doubt can give me results in one week’s time), I’d like to show you its moisturizing and “filling” effect though this before & after application snaps:

I intentionally sat near my good old fashioned tukador light to emphasize the lines around my eyes (which still, my mother does not understand why on Earth do I show photos of my icky, unmade-up self for all the world to see LOL). The top photo, as mentioned is the “before application” snap. If you look closely, you will see defined lines under my right eye. You know how moisturized skin looks like after immediately after application? Well, I skipped that step and waited for 15more minutes before taking the “after application” snap. After the elapsed time, my right under-eye area still looks supple! ;)

Another pro about this product’s its almost gel-like consistency. Yes, a cream that feels like gel, ladies! How lovely is that? I also use so little:

I use that much for both eyes. I deem that it’s totally unnecessary to apply a lot since it will just crease up my concealer. :) Oh do I use this under mineral makeup? OH YES. Save for my current dilemma of mixing up the perfect under-eye concealer shade (since am loosing my tan), this works just fine in making the concealer stay put.

So there you have it! :) I’ll post more updates in a week’s time or two. Grab your tubes and let me know if it worked for you! ;)

Look who just bit the marketing strategy of POND’S… :)

I LOVE CREAMS TIPPED TUBES!
Saves me from prod contamination! ;)

I’ve tried a LOT of eye creams am telling you but I always go running back to Bobbi Brown’s Hydrating Eye Cream as I feel it’s the lightest and most non-irritating eye cream ever! Am not definite though if I will be a very good Guinea pig for the subject since the eye area isn’t much of my problem (breakouts are)! But to give you a pretty good picture what am dealing with, here’s a quick snap of my eye area after putting on my moisturizer:

*boo*

I just popped the tube and am liking the consistency: almost gel like! It’s perfect for the eye area since we’re not supposed to inflict any tugging there, right? Come back after seven days for my “after 1 week use” photo. ;)
