Thanks to Temptalia’s gorg swatches, YSL ROUGE VOLUPTÉ ($34) has been haunting me like crazy! I had some spare time last Sunday night so I dashed off to Rustan’s to check if we have it here already. As usual and unforch, we don’t have it yet. Good news though’s that I met YSL’s Pure Lipstick (Php 1350).

Ugh.

Love. At. First. Swipe.

The lippies are totally luxe. They’re super pigmented, smooth, non-drying, and lasts pretty decently (about dinner and 3 drinks). I went out with 19 (very pretty fuchsia pink!) and lemming for 3 more shades:

31’s perfect for a laid back weekend look while 141’s a great face brightener at work. 49’s definitely not for the fainthearted. It’s something that I’d probably wear during a girl’s night out where there’s lots of camwhoring (you would too, right?).

So are these lippies really, really worth it? YES.

What cost me Php675* yesterday

I’ve been using this lip gloss forever and I just realized that I’ve never raved about it until I ran out of this particular color!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how full and shiny this baby is! It glides on like butter, is less sticky vs. MAC Lipglass, and is oh so photogenic.

This made my heart skip a beat. Did it make yours?
