Tessa Prieto-Valdes all primped up by Victor Ortega for Artistry Colour

Pieces that caught my eye:

Reminds me of something by Donna Karan six years ago

Never mind the dress but this model’s got the best eye make-up that night!
(Lemme bug Sophie if she’s got close ups)

Higher heels please!

Am feeling the headpiece. You?

Love the print. No love for the structure.

Love the bold hues. Change the shoes.

I’ve uploaded more photos here for you to comment on the pieces. Am saving this entry’s comment section for a little treat for all you gals based in the Philippines. ;)

Pre-fashion show, we met up at Italiani’s MoA for the Artistry Colour launch. Artistry is a technology-based skin care and cosmetic brand spanning years of experience in pioneering effective products. Its cosmetics line, Artistry Colour, carries a wide-range selection of modern, versatile, and wearable makeup that enhances our facial features while caring for our delicate skin. Here are the goodies Artistry’s made available for us here in the Philippines:

Artistry’s Flawless Coverage Powder Foundation evens skin tone, minimizes the appearance of pores, conceals skin imperfections for a natural, flawless looking coverage, protects the skin from the sun and nourishes it with Vitamin E.

Made with Micronized Pigment Technology to bring out the most vibrant shades, Artistry’s Eye and Cheek Colour has a velvety texture that is easy to apply and also contains Vitamins A and E to nourish the skin.

Brow Define’s twist-up and no-sharpening feature makes it hassle free to shape and color your brows. This is available in six universal tones to match any hair color, this product is ideal in filling in sparse or over plucked brows.

Waterproof Mascara 200 thickens lashes by up to 200% and darkens them without clumping. I’ve already tried it and oh yes! It really works without making the lashes look unnatural! It’s so light, very similar to the new mascara of VMV.

Sheer Lip Colour gives off luminescent gloss and shine while enriching the lips with Vitamins A,C, and E and soothing them with aloe.

Crème Lip Colour minimizes the appearance of fine lines by as much as 71% in as little as two weeks.

Sooooo…you gals ready for a little giveaway? Am giving out a tube of Artistry’s Sheer and Crème Lip Colour (thanks much Sophie for the swatch!) tucked in a pretty silver kikay kit and a mini Artistry brush set (Jillsabs loves herst!) to one lucky Philippines based SwipeSomeGloss reader!

Phoebe! I’m also surprised with the choice of shoes for some of the outfits :-o

My best fasyon moment? During a friend’s debut, I wore this crazy long denim skirt (that had slits up to the knees) that had a huge pic of a guitar (shucks, I forgot if it was Gibson or Fender :)) ). To make it feel formal, I wore a red silk top hahaha. Because everyone was wearing dresses and gowns, my friends kept on asking me about my outfit ;)

Oooh! I love giveaways! About my fasyon moment, hmmm.. I don’t really have anything in particular but I guess I’ve experienced a few, I don’t think it’s really about what I wear but how I wear it or when I’m happy wearing that piece that people unexpectedly give me compliments that I feel like I’m glowing or somethin’ :)

Wow, Phoebe! Thanks for the contest =)
My best fasyon moment is when I had to attend an awards night and it was a bit too short-notice. They told me I needed to be a presenter in the morning, and the event was in the same day at 5PM. What I did was, I sneaked in lunch while I was working at around 10:30 and sneaked out to Glorietta to buy a dress. I ended up with a black and white X by Vittorio Barba gown, with stitched black flowers and raves were over-pouring that night. To think it was late notice! =)

I gave it away :)

I wore this Pharaoh/Sun God Ra costume at last year’s office halloween party…(not really costume-y though.)

Flashback (four days before the party):
Everyone thinks I am a wet blanket.Im not into these themed party our office so loves - almost every week.Name it, we had it. 70’s disco?Oh yeah, twice. Black Tie Oscars’s Night - Christmas 2006. Fairyland - oh yeah. And though, ironically, I am now into fashion biz, never did i dressed-up for any of those parties.Bad wet blanket.Hehehehe.

So there, when they expect the least, I surprised them with this avant garde Galliano-ish pharoah costume by a designer friend.Hahaha.Imagine me wearing this 3-feet head dress with life-like snake on top!I asked my friend to do me a cape with really big hoodie to cover my face and head dress.
Ha-ha.

Obviously, I won…

my best fashion moment was when I attended the debut of my classmate. Most of them were surprised by the dress that I wore since they think i’m too conservative and old fashioned
