Could Fasio and Fashion 21 be (beauty gunk) cousins?

What makes these jewels similar (save for the brand name prefix):

rock bottom price tags

and UNBELIEVABLE staying power!

Eight out of ten EOTDs here in SSG’s topped off by my favorite mascara brand, Fasio (about Php 395/mascara). I’ve been raving about it both online and off-line for about 3.5-4 years now. Why wouldn’t I when it really holds to its “hyper-stay” promise, right? I mean we’ve swam together in Boracay with our other friend MAC Powerpoint in Bountiful Brown and it’s never failed me. No raccoon eyes ever . What I haven’t mentioned in this blog is my HG liquid eyeliner in terms of both price and unbeatable staying power.

So ladies, I want you all to meet two of my HG liquid eyeliners from Fashion 21: the Dipliner and the Liquid Eyeliner.

Fashion 21 Dipliner in BROWN

Fashion 21 Liquid Eyeliner in BLACK

I discovered these from my cousin, M, who’s a major liquid e/l girl. I’ve always been intimidated by liquid e/ls much more by these two as they just stick around the whole day even after being drenched by the rain. For me to get ‘em out, I’d have to leave Pond’s Cold Cream on for ten minutes before wiping off (plus 5 more minutes if am wearing Fasio mascara too). These babies are definitely oily lid-friendly and commuter & crybaby proof. Shoot me if it flakes or budges on you.

My only gripe on the Dipliner’s how the color changes from brown to something like dark gunmetal on me after about 5 hours. But hey for a little over Php 100 (the Liquid Eyeliner’s tagged around Php 20-30 more), I can always retouch, right?

I’ve tried the Dipliner back in college, and I agree that it’s HARD to remove! I should check the counter again to get the liquid e/l, I’m not used to the applicator of the Dipliner for now.

i should definitely check that Fashion 21 liner out…. I need waterproof liners that will not budge during the weddings I do. :)

@Mhean
I haven’t tried removing it with any of the Shu Uemura cleansing oils. :oops:

@Patty
Eyeknows right! That’s also the reason why lately, I haven’t been wearing mascara. Super dead tired and sleepy when I get home na eh, no time to soak up and all.

The eyeliner is supposed to last longer vs. the dipliner (per sales associate). The brush is also different where the dipliner’s easier to use than the eyeliner. :)
