A little over a week ago, four of your favorite beauty bloggers (plus me! heehee) hauled up in the uber posh Beverly Hills Medical Group (totally different from the Beverly Hills 6750 along Ayala Avenue) for a hearty brunch and launch of the hottest and most controversial anti-aging product line, REVALÉSKIN™.

In a nutshell,

  • REVALÉSKIN™ is Stiefel Laboratories Inc.’s first and only professional line of Organiceutical, anti-aging skin care products exclusively formulated with the potent, natural antioxidant CoffeeBerry®
  • In clinical trials performed by David McDaniel M.D., Director for the Institute of Anti-Aging Research in Virginia and Zoe Diana Draelos M.D, Primary Investigator for the Dermatology Consulting Service in North Carolina, REVALÉSKIN™ with CoffeeBerry® was proven to be ten times better than its vehicle in improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • REVALÉSKIN™ is a simple three-step system: a Facial Cleanser to thoroughly cleanse the skin, a Day Cream with SPF 15 sunscreen to protect and moisturize, and a Night Cream to revitalize and rejuvenate.
  • REVALÉSKIN™ is available only through dermatologists.

Can you picture how giddy I was when I was handed a loot bag containing all three REVALÉSKIN™ products? *wink* I couldn’t wait to snap and share with you gals how this line fairs!

I was looking for a MAC (as in Apple) accessory on eBay.ph when I chanced on some MAC (as in Makeup Art Cosmetics) items. I clicked on the wrong link (too sleepy) and look what said “hello” to me at 4:30am:

MAC Cosmetics Powder Brush, PhP 900

ANDDDD the seller sells the classic eye shadow dupes too for a VERY expensivo tag:

MAC Cosmetics Eye Shadow 4 pcs set, PhP 2000

Greetings from Mount Daguldul…

and La Luz beach!

Of all places, Charm’s been to the mountains and the beaches of San Juan, Batangas. Yes, you read that right! She went on a hiking and beach trip! Sometime last week, I was told that I will be joining a group of 5 bloggers on a hiking trip to road test Columbia Sportswear’s hiking gear (how can you say no to that!). Checkout the stuff I handpicked last Thursday at the Gateway branch:

Smile for me Charm!

Geared with my Omni-Dry® Highland S/S Tee, Omni-Dry® Silver Ridge™ III Capri, Columbia Graffiti Camo Low Cut™ socks, Black Rock™ II shoes, and beanie. I initially got the Day Off Booney but Jayvee and I swapped because this looked better on me! LOL

March April triggers a series of inevitable actions:

Beach-reads fly off bookshelves; shorts and tank tops tumble out of closets; patio umbrellas are unfurled; rooftop parties commence. And just as surely, the pitter-patter of flip-flops on the sand overlaps with the buzz of possible explorations under sunny, soon to be summery skies.

In the Philippines, the choices for summer escapes are rich indeed. There’s a lot to be explored in a country made up of 7,107 islands, where the breeze is balmy throughout the year. In fact, the opportunity to discover something new is limitless; and this is exactly why Havaianas — being a brand that mirrors the easy vibe of the tropics — is giving you the chance to indulge in summer bliss all year round.

In the hopes of underscoring the country’s unexplored gems and rediscovering favorite coastal destinations, Havaianas launches “Flipping for the Beach” contest. The initiative underscores the inherent tourism potential of the country via endeavor that invites locals to share the unique activities that one can do to immerse in the diversity that the Philippine coast has to offer.
