Meeting REVALÉSKIN™ (Part 1) | SwipeSomeGloss

A little over a week ago, four of your favorite beauty bloggers (plus me! heehee) hauled up in the uber posh Beverly Hills Medical Group (totally different from the Beverly Hills 6750 along Ayala Avenue) for a hearty brunch and launch of the hottest and most controversial anti-aging product line, REVALÉSKIN™.

In a nutshell,

  • REVALÉSKIN™ is Stiefel Laboratories Inc.’s first and only professional line of Organiceutical, anti-aging skin care products exclusively formulated with the potent, natural antioxidant CoffeeBerry®
  • In clinical trials performed by David McDaniel M.D., Director for the Institute of Anti-Aging Research in Virginia and Zoe Diana Draelos M.D, Primary Investigator for the Dermatology Consulting Service in North Carolina, REVALÉSKIN™ with CoffeeBerry® was proven to be ten times better than its vehicle in improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • REVALÉSKIN™ is a simple three-step system: a Facial Cleanser to thoroughly cleanse the skin, a Day Cream with SPF 15 sunscreen to protect and moisturize, and a Night Cream to revitalize and rejuvenate.
  • REVALÉSKIN™ is available only through dermatologists.

Can you picture how giddy I was when I was handed a loot bag containing all three REVALÉSKIN™ products? *wink* I couldn’t wait to snap and share with you gals how this line fairs!

Over the next few weeks, you’ll see an entry or so from me and my mom as we road test and see if this line actually works in turning back time, skin appearance wise. For now, let me run you down with my 1 week’s observation:

Product: REVALÉSKIN™ Facial Cleanser

Ingredients: Active Ingredients: 1% Coffee Berry, Octinoxate 7.5% (sunscreen), Oxybenzone 4% (sunscreen), Glycerin, Glycine Sojo (Soybean) Protein.

Other ingredients include: Water, Glycerin, PPG-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Pentylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Cyclopentasiloxane and Cyclohexasiloxane, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethcone Crosspolymer, Silica, Glycine Sojo Protein, Oxido Reductases, Coffee Arabica Seed Extract, Stearyl Alcohol, Sodium PCA, Urea, Trehalose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glycosphingolipids, Phospholipids, Cholesterol, Hydrogenated Polybutene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Sodium Polyacrylate, Steareth-2, Oleth-20, Triethanolamine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Polysorbate 80, Polyquarternium-51, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Green 3 C1 42053), Yellow 5 (C1 19140)

Wallet Damage: PhP 2700

The Swiper’s Verdict: B

While the cleanser isn’t strong enough to melt your waterproof mascara, I love how it leaves my skin super soft and light after. It doesn’t lather (it’s a plus that it’s soap-free) so you need to have moist hands, face, and neck to work it.

I am absolutely in love with this product simply because it hasn’t broken my skin out and it’s kept me oil free for 16 hours! No product’s done that so far. My pores have definitely shrunk as well (WOW).

I’ve been waking up with clearer, softer, and oil free skin (don’t you just hate how some night creams leave you with a gunk of oil in the morning?) for the past seven days. I’ve been skipping on my eye cream too as it looks like I don’t need a dedicated product for my under eye area as this night cream’s already taming down my lines.

Wow!! Freebies! Anyhoo, I love your blog. It’s really informative for people like me who buys tons of make up but doesn’t know how to use ‘em.. =) However, I’m a chinita and don’t have beautiful creases in my lids.. Hopefully, you’ll give out steps for chinitas out there. Thanks! More power =P

– PRICE & INGREDIENTS NOW INCLUDED IN THE ENTRY :)

@Lil
I’m afraid they didn’t cover its effects on both pregnant and breastfeeding women during the launch. :( You might want to get in touch with your OB-GYNE/Beverly Hills Medical Group (BHMG) regarding this.

@Via
It’s readily available at the BHMG clinic. Give them a call at 81-90210.

@tara
Don’t we just all love getting free loot?? :) Thanks for the kudos and I hope I can make a tutorial in the near future! Am dead swamped with things to do right now! :oops:
