Am not definite how many of you’re aware of our “lazy Friday” habit. Thing is, even if were’re not in MNL, it was still Friday (last February 29) and we’re still lazy!
Seriously now, I promised myself that I will try yoga in Ho Chi Minh/Saigon and the Khmer massage in Cambodia. I checked on the schedule of classes at Saigon Yoga but unforch, it’s too restricting considering we’re going on tours and all.
On board, crossing the borders of the two countries, I told myself that I will penalize myself with some serious “no MMU shopping” if I wouldn’t be able to try the Khmer massage.
You can totally tell what happened.

The best way to end a day of touring and shooting!

We got a 1 hour Khmer massage for $6 (that’s hella cheap!). Similar to the traditional Thai massage, we were asked to change clothes and were kneaded and stretched oil-free. Between the Thai and Khmer massage, I think I like the later more as there’s less “participation” from the receiver’s end (that’s how lazy I am). There are also certain parts of the massage where they will press you down for a full minute, dropping their entire body weight on you.
Do you guys know any spas here in MNL offering Khmer massage? PLEASE buzz me!
