I’ve been meaning to pack my bags for the past 2 hours for this week long trip with family and friends but I cannot help but gush (and blog) about my latest spend vs. save find:

YES…we’re in my bathroom
I’ve been a loyal user of the Kerastase Soleil line for the past 2 years since am at the beach year round and it’s the only shampoo and conditioner combo my hair seems to like. Last summer, I realized that I wasn’t alone! My friend Jing loves it too and just for kicks we took a quick photo of our vanity table in Boracay Peninsula:

Murad…check! Kerastase…check!
Going back to hair ish: I know this is very weird but during cold rainy months, my hair feels really dry. I use a couple of intensive moisture treatments but it seems not enough. That changed when I met L’Oreal ELSEVE Nutri-Gloss. I discovered it on a trip to Singapore and immediately fell in love with its scent. It does what its ad promises too: cashmere soft and mirror-shiny hair. While the price tag isn’ so bad (1/3 of Kerastase prods), I haven’t seen this here in Manila. Just my luck, I discovered Sunsilk’s Smooth and Manageable line last week and I swear: it makes my hair softer than L’Oreal Elseve!
Scent’s pretty close too and lasts all day (commuter tested LOL). Best of all, it’s cheaper! ![]()

Wowowee! Kerastase and Murad. How Shaley!

I wanna try Elseve too. I heard this L’oreal’s cheaper line is also good, albeit nothing beats Kera (even the price, ugh, a bucket of treatment will cost you an arm).
Elseve and Kera’s LURVE!!! I bet Sophie will agree!
I totally agree Phoebs. But I also use Sunsilk - it’s the only local hair brand that tamed my fly aways since highschool. Very impressive
[…] My HG shampoo has finally reached MNL!!! No need for me to pabili in Singapore! hair care […]
