Trivia: My favorite flower = Japanese Cherry Blossoms. I honestly do not remember how or when my obsession began. What remember though is the tickling sensation I felt sometime July 2007 when my brother and I had flowers inked on our body! :D

my right inner wrist 24 hours after inking

*le sigh* I wish I never got allergies!

On wiv our beauty geekiness, check out the latest addition to The Body Shop’s fragrance family:

Aside from the EDT, they’ve also infused (their signature) Body Butter, Bath and Shower Gel, Body Puree, and Reed Diffuser wiv rich yet fresh sakura blossoms.

Is it just me or is someone tryna channel someone… /:)

I tried Bath & Body works cherry blossom fragrances when they initially hit the market (being a fan of cherry blossoms - I also want to get them inked on, but haven’t come up with the right design) and I wasn’t that impressed. One smelled too powdery, and the other was a little better, but the scent faded so quickly, even after layering products (lotion, mist/perfume). Hopefully Body Shop does a better job…

Hello Diana! :)
I cannot stand BBW’s Cherry Blossom too because like what you said, it’s too powdery (that I find it nauseating). The JAPANESE Cherry Blossom variant worked for me though (since am quite partial on warm and musky tones) but yes, no matter what kind of layering I do (I have the body wash, body butter, hand cream, and EDT), it does not last very long. :(
Am also hoping that TBS will go a good job here since I am quite impressed wiv the staying power of their EDTs (I’ve consumed 3 bottles of the now goner The Spirit of Moonflower).

much lurve,

your fellow sakura addict :)

I have nothing to contribute regarding fragrances. I just wanted to say,

“I RECOGNIZE THAT WRIST!!!”

That wrist was at my house last month!

I’m also hoping that wrist can come back to my house on the 16th, because the wifey is launching something rather girly.
Methinks you might like it. She is also celebrating her birthday. So yeah. I hope you can attend.

I go be senseless elsewhere now. Blog on!
