On de-puffing and un-lining (part 3) | SwipeSomeGloss

Here goes my third installment which also includes the HG of all DIY treatments for me: SK-II’s Signs Eye Masks. ;)

SK-II Signs Eye Mask

SK-II Signs Eye Mask combines intense hydrators with a blend of Pitera, vitamins and dual peptide technology. In just one application Signs Eye Mask is proven to visibly brighten the skin tone under eyes and improve the appearance of skin dullness, making dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable and replenishing skin‘s lost moisture, hydrating the skin for up to twelve hours.

One of my very good friends gave me this (a pack of 14 masks) as a pasalubong from Singapore sometime May of 2006. She told me to specifically follow the instructions (that you’d have to use this for 14 consecutive days) to achieve the desired results. After 14 days, am a serious convert! Check out my almost make-up free (I was only wearing lip gloss because I left my entire make-up kit at home) photos after a 12-hour shift and dinner with my family:

me (and my dad’s hand and mouth) and me again with my Nanay Leoning
(Why the white cast on the later photo? I practically drank SPF 70! LOL)

I was only able to keep up with this treatment for 4 months though since these don’t sell very cheap. :(

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide EyeWish Eye Cream SPF 10
This emollient-rich eyecare cream moisturizes and protects from UVA/UVB damage to:
* Reduces the appearance of dark circles with Ceramide IIIA, a skin-identical ceramide, Mulberry Extract and light diffusers
* Soothes puffiness, promotes firmer-looking skin.
* Moisturizes and protects against future signs of aging due to sun exposure.

I think this is the worst eye cream I’ve ever tried: expensive, stings my eyes, and greasy. :(

Clinique All About Eyes
Diminishes the appearance of eye puffs, darkness, fine lines. Lightweight, non-creep, cream/gel formula actually helps hold eye makeup in place. For use morning and night, under eyes and on the lids.

For a while, I seriously loved this eye cream because I pair it with Maybelline’s Perfect Concealer (the one that’s packaged like a lip gloss) and the end result’s just flawless and lasts the whole day. I’m not sure about the de-puffing but it sure helped making my eye area look more supple and less haggard.

We’re the opposite. Clinique didn’t do anything for me while Liz Arden’s fairly ok in my book :) I want SK II!!!!!

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article -puffing and un-lining (part 3) | SwipeSomeGloss., but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
