I LURVE MY CHARM BRUSHES!!!! (This rave deserves an all caps!)

After a rough day of massive blogging, road testing, and airbrushing, I had to actually pull up a face for our office dinner. My officemates don’t exactly see me in my full FOTD gala so wth, let’s show them how we play! ;)

Before I lined my inner rims

Soft

Hard

I just wanted to show you how my hair actually cooperated last night
:P

damnnn I should really lay off on the caffeine and get real sleep
:(

Oh and I did, yes, bother to actually spot conceal because the concealer brush is just GREATTTT! I used the following:

FOUNDATION: Monave Loose Mineral Concealer-Foundation in SATURNINA
–> I used the flat top brush and oh my goodness! It’s the perfect brush for just brushing on heavily pigmented foundations like Monave!
SETTING POWDER: Monave ANGEL
–> I lightly brused on this using the kabuki brush and yummmm! So soft and no itching!
CHEEKS: Valerie Beauty in MALIBU
–> This and the duo fiber brush are just made for each other!
HIGHLIGHT: MAC e/s in RICEPAPER
–> Totally works like my favorite all shaders (the one from Prestige and MAC 252)!
CREASE COLOR: MAC pigment in COPPERIZED (base), MAD Minerals in ENVY & BE Glimmer in TRUE GOLD (blended in the inner eye area)
–> Charm’s crease brush is the perfect size for my crease! Bloody amazing I tell you!
LINERS: MAC pigment in COCOMOTION (gold), MAD Minerals in SPRUCE (green)
–> To line my lower rims, I used the angled brush. I still have to get used to lining my own eyes with the eye liner brush but the one by Charm makes things easier cause it’s hard enough to prevent me from making awkward lines!
MASCARA: MAC Splashproof Lash in BLACKSPLASH
BROWS:
TFS Automatic eye brow pencil in BROWN

LIPS: MAC l/s in COSMO and Fasio Full Glossy Lips in HONEY BEIGE

If you do not have these brushes just yet, please grab yourselves the entire kit! You just do not know what you’re missing out ’til you try it yourself! ;)

Nice eye make-up.
I also have Charm brush set, although one of their e/s brush (the larger one) feels scratchy on my lids. Does your Charm brushes shed? Mine still does after months of using it. Although I love using the brushes coz they’re soft and provides good coverage (kabuki). I just wish they’ll (kabuki and flat top) stop shedding.

Hello and thank you, Jing! Mine does not feel scratchy at all (I can even show you if we’re going to meet in a MMU weekend in the future heehee). I have this goat hair kabuki brush that got stiff in the past and I was able to resurrect it using my hair conditioner ;) Just condition the hair after the usual cleaning.

My brushes don’t shed too! Might I ask how you take care of your brushes?

thanks for the tip. I’ll use hair conditioner on my e/s brush.

I wash my brushes using Fruits & Passion shower gel, then air dry it. Maybe the shower gel is too harsh for the brush? Should I just use shampoo instead? I also wash my brushes everytime I use them.

thanks for your help. Love your new site :)
